About Lake Tomahawk Retreat Center

Lake Tomahawk began operations on April 05, 1974, when it purchased 30 acres from an existing boys and girls camp that served our local area. 

Spanning over 150 acres, Lake Tomahawk features retreat accommodations that include a climate-controlled Tabernacle capable of hosting 450 guests for worship, a beautiful two-story dining hall with a meeting room, eight dorms accommodating 360 guests, and private housing for an additional 40 guests. We are proud to offer a 175-seat Chapel as well. Our outstanding summer camps provide a vibrant waterfront experience with swimming, canoeing, and paddle boats. Guests can enjoy various water toys, including a 35-foot Blob, an Aqua Glide, and even a thrilling water zip-line. Fishing is excellent here too! Additionally, we have a high ropes course perfect for team building activities to meet your group’s needs.
